On Sunday Cypress Pointe was dispatched to Quiet Oak Road to assist Whispering Pines Fire Department with an Recreational Vehicle Fire. The fire started from a property owner burning yard debris which spread to the RV. The RV was within a few feet of another RV and another house. Fire personnel contained the fire to the RV and did not allow any damage to the exposures in the area. Cypress Pointe responded with an engine and a tanker. Pinehurst Fire Department and Southern Pines Fire Department also responded.
