Earlier this week, CPFR along with automatic aid from Carthage Fire Department and Whispering Pines Fire Department were dispatched to Lake Rest Lane in Carolina Lakes for a structure fire.
Upon the arrival of Battalion 21 he reported an outside fire that was involving two outside structures and a vehicle. Engine 221 was the first engine to arrive and they initiated the attack with support from our other members and automatic aid.
Members of the Moore County Fire Marshal's Office investigated the fire and determined that the fire had started from residents burning card board boxes.
We encourage people not to burn until we receive some significant rain fall.
