Just after 10:00 p.m. on Friday night CPFR, Moore County EMS and the N.C. Highway Patrol were dispatched to another wreck on U.S. 1 Highway By-Pass.
Upon the arrival of Engine 211 and Heavy Rescue 219 they determined that this was a two-vehicle wreck with one car overturned. Initially a medical helicopter was requested but later canceled because injuries were not as bad as initially believed. All occupants were out of the cars, one occupant was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the other refused additional treatment.
The N.C. Highway Patrol is investigating this wreck.
