A wreck in the 5000 block of U.S. 1 Highway on Thursday night sent two the hospital.
The wreck involving a passenger car, rear-ending a dump truck with the car coming to rest against a tree, injuring the two occupants in the car. Both occupants were transported to the hospital by Moore County EMS with non-life threating injuries.
The N.C. Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
