On Friday afternoon a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 690 and Byrd Road resulted in two victims being transported to the hospital including a pregnant woman, however none of the occupants had life threatening injuries.
Highway 690 was blocked for well over an hour due to removing the victims and the Highway Patrol investigation. The Moore County Sheriff's Office assisted with detouring traffic around the incident until the investigation was completed and the vehicles could be removed.
