Cypress Pointe recently responded with Carthage Fire Department for a structure fire on Union Church Road. Upon the arrival of Carthage units, it was determined that one of the occupants which had mobility issues was still in the house. Carthage fire personnel worked to remove the occupant while others extinguished the dryer fire. The dryer was removed from the house with minimal damage to the house. The occupant was treated and released.
