CPFR recently responded to an outbuilding fire in the 100 block of Cypress Road in our Harnett County District. Upon the arrival of fire units, they reported one outbuilding fully involved with a second outbuilding on fire and a woods fire spreading.
The first in crews deployed two attack lines, the first line attacked the second building and stopped the forward progress of that fire and saved additional damage to the building and contents. The second attack line stopped the woods fire from spreading. Then both lines were used to extinguish the original building fire.
Automatic aid partner Crains Creek Fire Department Tanker 236 supplied additional water in support of extinguishing the fire and Harneet County Forestry Service responded to assist with the woods fire.
