Over the last week Cypress Pointe, the NC Forest Service as well as many other departments in Moore County have been dispatched and responded to multiple outside fires.
Many of these fires have been spreading rapidly, some of the fires have been in and around houses and have been challenging to bring under control.
We remind people that ground cover is dryer than expected and fire may spread more rapidly than expected.
