In the past four days, CPFR has responded to four outdoor fires—each caused by open burning. Despite recent rain, conditions remain dry enough for fires to spread quickly.

We urge you to delay burning whenever possible. If you must burn, ensure:

✅ Humidity levels are higher
✅ A water source is readily available
✅ There is ample clearance from combustible materials

Taking these precautions can prevent fires from getting out of control.
